When and where is Food ingredients Europe 2025?

The event will take place in-person in Expo Porte de Versailles, Paris, between 2-4 December 2025.

What is the event about?

Fi Europe is the leading global food ingredients event. This annual event unites the world's leading food & beverage suppliers, buyers, R&D experts and production specialists all under one roof.

Fi Europe is all about showcasing and sourcing F&B ingredients, technologies and solutions, building valuable connections with industry leaders and innovators, and gaining a competitive advantage though cutting-edge insights.

How does networking and the event app work?

The event platform allows you to:

·         Connect and message attendees

·         Schedule video-call meetings

·         Use matchmaking suggestions based on profiles and filters

·         Engage live during content sessions and networking events

Once the platform is live, all registered attendees will receive an email instructing you to log in. Interactions on the platform are saved as leads for your company so, to collect the greatest number of leads, ensure that all of your team members access their account.

To prepare for lead capture at the in-person event, you will need to download the event app. You can use the app to scan attendee badges onsite, the contact details of all your scanned badges will be saved on the platform. You can add notes or qualify your leads with prequalifying questions that you can set up on the platform before the show. You can read more about the lead retrieval process in the guide that will be made available on the platform once it goes live.

What about if I need a visa?

If you require a visa to enter France and are a visitor, you can request a "confirmation of participation" using your registration key that will be sent to you after you have registered. The link for this form can be found on your confirmation email.

If you are an exhibitor and require a visa, you must be registered first via the exhibitor manual. Then using your registration key, you can request a "confirmation of participation" - the link for this form can be found in the exhibitor manual or your confirmation email.

After this you can go ahead and apply for your visa.

How do I access my digital badge?

Digital badges are available via the event app. Once your registration is confirmed and the event app has launched, your digital badge will appear here.

Can you support me in finding accomodation?

Can I exhibit in the in-person event only?

No, Fi Europe as of this year continues as an in-person event, enhanced by our digitally-enabled event.

There is however the possibility to participate in the digital event only.

Why will Fi Europe continue to be enhanced with a digital event?

Each aspect of Fi Europe comes with unique benefits:

  • Digital: Connect with new clients and establish a relationship before meeting them onsite. You can reach a wider global audience, especially those attendees who cannot travel, share your content, and create brand awareness on the platform.
  • In-Person: Avoid multiple trips to visit your clients, close deals onsite with the trust of the face-to-face element, offer a sensory experience through your ingredients, be where your peers are.

Can I upgrade my event package?

Yes, it is always possible to upgrade later and in addition can purchase several sponsorship items increasing ROI as well. Please speak with your account manager.

Can you explain how networking works on the event platform?

Connections and meetings are a core element of a successful event experience.

  • Connect, chat & video call with Attendees Browse the attendee list and use the filters to quickly find the most relevant attendees for you and your company. You can send connection requests and chat instantly. Once the connection request is accepted you will be able to video call through the platform outside of meeting times!
  • Incoming Requests: Visitors can reach out to you directly to connect. They will be able to send your company or your team members meeting requests. All meetings incl their status can be viewed in your Exhibitor Center under “Meetings”. Please note we strongly advise you to not just wait for incoming requests but be proactive towards visitors.
  • Suggested Matches: Our matchmaking engine uses the information you have entered on your profile when registering and makes suggestions of attendees that might be relevant to you. You can find these suggestions at the top of the attendee list.
  • Other Networking Opportunities: Participate in the extensive content programme during the event where you can chat with other attendees and pose questions to the speakers.

How do I register for the event?

Your main stand holder will need to register you directly via the Exhibitor Manual. Once they register you, you will receive an email with a link to your registration form, where you will need to complete some additional information. Once done you will be registered for the event.

Can I get the contact details of the people I’ve connected with?

Yes, you will be able to see the contact details of the attendee once you are a connection.

A connection is made by sending a connection request and the other person accepting it.

Is there an age restriction to attending Food ingredients Europe?

To ensure safety, anybody under the age of 16 is not allowed to attend Food ingredients Europe.

Nursing mothers with babies are welcome at our event and a private lactation room will be availble on-site for your convenience. However, we require a responsibility waiver to be completed upon check-in for safety purposes.

Do I have to pay to enter Food ingredients Europe?

Yes, we have a paid tickets model as this ensures a more enhanced experience for attendees. By charging for tickets, we can allocate resources to improve key aspects such as venue quality, catering, entertainment, and overall event production. Moreover, paid entry often attracts a more invested audience, creating a more meaningful networking and learning experience for all participants.
